Autumn Dinner 2018 - In Partnership w Grow: Johnson County

Everyone deserves access to good food. Grow: Johnson County is a hunger-relief and educational farm program working to improve healthy food access for our area’s most vulnerable residents as well as equip aspiring growers with organic food production skills. Grow: Johnson County utilizes 4 acres of land at the Johnson County Historic Poor Farm to produce an array of organic fruits and vegetables that are freely distributed to local hunger-relief agencies. Last year, in its second growing season, Grow produced 28,500 pounds of food for 13 agencies, including food pantries, homeless shelters, free meal programs, and after school centers.

Funds raised from this event will help Grow: Johnson County continue to make good food available for all of our community.
